Delete your Beyond Borders account

You can permanently delete your account from the app or request help here.

Delete your account in the app

Open Beyond Borders and sign in to the account you want to delete.
Open More and select Delete Account.
Confirm your identity and review the final deletion warning.
Select Delete account to complete the request.

The in-app process is the fastest option because you are already authenticated.

If you cannot access the app

Email us from the address associated with your Beyond Borders account. Include the name shown on your profile and state that you want your account deleted.

Request account deletion

To protect your account, we will verify that you control it before processing an email request. Do not send passwords, identity documents, or other sensitive information by email unless we specifically request an appropriate verification method.

What deletion does

Deletion removes or anonymises account data associated with your profile, including profile information, questions, replies, messages, mentorship records, sessions, event registrations, notification settings, and uploaded profile media, where applicable.

Limited anonymised safety and moderation records may be retained where necessary to protect users, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. They will no longer identify you through your active profile.

Deletion is permanent. Your profile and account history cannot be restored after the request is completed.
